This 5 part seminar is open to all Martial Arts students and will be presented in a way to facilitate all levels from white belt to black. The goal is to present aspects of the various Chinese Internal Arts with the intent to add to your present training.

Saturday (9/16) Academy of Kung fu (3228 SE 21st Ave.)

Session 1 (10-11:30 am) Application to martial movement of QiGong and body connection
Session 2 (11:40- 1:10) Light touch power for joint locks and pressure points
Session 3 (1:40- 3:10) Close combat use of internal power
* for strikes, elbows and takedowns at short range
* neutralizing your opponents power at short range
* punching and throwing combinations at short range

Sunday (9/17) Academy of Martial Arts (3107 SE 90th Place)

Session 4 (9- 10:30 am) Taoist Yoga and breath training
Session 5 10:30- 12) Energetic healing and body rhythms
Short meditation practice at noon (no charge)

Master John Bracy has nearly 40 years of study of the traditional martial and healing arts. He is one of only a few foreigners granted formal lineage in Ba Gua Zhang and was admitted to this standing through a formal Confucian ceremony in Beijing, China, the birthplace of the art. He is also licensed as a full contact coach by the Beijing Full Contact Fighting Association and holds an eighth degree instructor ranking in the Pa Kua Gate Society of Taiwan.
