Mo Duk Pai students from Academy of Martial Arts, AMA-Bonneville and Academy of Kung Fu participated in Battle of Champions I, Salem OR, sponsored by Dave's Tae Kwon Do. For a bunch of old folks (everybody competed in senior divisions as well as open divisions) we did well, bringing home several trophies. Joe Davis, of AMA-bonneville, took first place in both forms and fighing for seniors under black belt.

Thanks to a mix-up in names, Brian Bennett was called up to fight one of Dan Jones' fights. Dan was a good sport and didn't say anything, resulting in a trophy for Brian - who insists on sharing credit with Dan.
